Way Nautical Furniture

In between traveling I have been looking on Craig's List for some furniture to fill in what used to be the guest room and is now my room

. 

I finally found this Virgina House Furniture from the 1940s.  It is a bit 'over the top' but in the end I like it. 

This also frees up the 'brown' room for me to rent out in the future but for now I have a campaign worker from Emily's List staying there.  She is working for Sarah Roberts' run at the 24th district house seat for the State of Michigan

I am also having an openhouse / housewarming party on August 8th - so if you are in town and didn't get an invite - just let me know - it is very causal and very 'open'.
